What you say stays on your Mac.

Your voice becomes text on your Mac. Audio is never saved or sent anywhere.
Dictation needs no account, works offline and sends nothing anywhere.
Questions go to the AI service you pick. With your own key, straight from your Mac to that provider, under its terms, and never to Starlight's servers. With Ollama, nothing leaves your Mac.
With Pro, Starlight's answer service passes your question along. It keeps a count, not what you asked.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Starlight never sees your card number.
No analytics in the app, no ads, no tracking, and your information is never sold.
